In recent years, our nation has experienced an attack on the independence of the judicial system and its ability to keep faith with core Constitutional values of liberty, equality and justice for all that are the foundation of our democracy. The Coalition for Constitutional Values works to protect judicial independence by supporting the confirmation of well-qualified, independent, fair-minded judges who place justice ahead of politics by respecting our Constitution and our laws.
The Coalition for Constitutional Values is a project of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, a coalition charged by its diverse membership of more than 200 national organizations to promote and protect the rights of all persons in the United States. The Leadership Conference works toward an America as good as its ideals.
